Shout outs to my Mum.

I have so much respect and love for this bird it ain’t funny.

Stories of the hippie trail through Europe and the Middle East in the swinging 60′s, of engagements to hot Spanish artists named Hose’, of living in power and waterless squats in Amsterdam with a bunch of Ziggy Stardust wannabes, of  running a cafe drug front from said squat and macrobiotic diets all endlessly amuse me but her amazing job raising us 5 kidlets and the amount of energy and love she put into it is what makes me feel like an extremely lucky ducky.

My Mum, Oma, Opa, Paul and I… Mum was rocking a mean 80′s mullet a the time! hahaha!

She also instilled in me a great love of fashion, and a touch of the theatrical when it came to presenting ones self.

Paul and I in winter woolies in front of the mud brick home my parents built from scratch… This is a lesson in hard yakka and colour match ladies!

Here’s a nice example of her sewing skills… check out our matching olive trackies.. mine was pimped out with fur trim and  paired with leopard print leggings.. I still rock tights like these!
