Lady of the tack here, feels like it’s been a while since I’ve posted… I’ve been pretty busy and have pretty much zlch to show for it (it seems my ability to take my camera out of my bag and document stuff has been VERY poor of late.

Had a lovely birthday, thanks for asking, Simon and G-Funk was brilliant as I’m sure you all expected. I got hideously drunk and ended up spending most of my actual birthday horribly hungover, ate chocolate cake for breakfast on the floor of a friends apartment whilst watching “The Morning Show” for about, oh half the day.. hahaha and had a flat phone with no charger so missed ALL of my birthday calls, um and then had to catch a 3 hour train home which was filled to the brim with screaming teenagers with camera phones, ohhhhh the joy! Nah it was actually alright and Noods got me that hella cute Disney ring I was banging on about an age ago and I had yummy Mexican and Sangria for tea, so the day rounded out pretty nicely… I took one photo and this was it…

The sun sets on my 27th birthday in the back streets of Newcastle, its poetic right? bahahaha.

So anyway just because I know people like pictures better than words, well I know I do, I thought I’d post some of my op shop buys that I snagged this morning… Had an awfully early hair appointment, 8AM!!!!! Fricking hell was tough getting out of bed for this one but with Noodle off fishing I decided I’d hit the circuit… got some pretty good tack as follows…

That Noni B printed thing is awesome.. with a belt its like this mega short kimona-y dress thing, I’m going to wear it tonight, um and who can say no to a gum nut necklace and a few over sized knits??? probably most but not me! (that cream knit has pom poms all over it and is all sexy and off the shoulder, not that you can tell from my crappy photos!)

Now this buy is sure to freak most out, I present to you my new night gown!

I know this was probably pulled off of a dead nannas body and taken straight to an op-shop and it pretty much guarantees that I’ll never have sex again but its sooooo gross its AMAZING… its going to go so well with my old lady slippers. Sorry Noodle.

Then I also got a few house-y things…

This amazing sailor boy embroidery… its a rip off of that french artist from the 60-70’s, god knows I can’t remember his name of the top of my head (I bought a heap of his prints whilst in Paris, sooo cute, boys pissing with the Sacre Coeur in the background and girls showing their bums off along the Seine, amazing stuff!) Alex in her nautical mode is going to love this one methinks.

Also this excellent cake, serving dish.. or maybe trinket holder?

My love affair with glazed goods is far from over…

Anyway hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, it’s so blue and crisp here today (such a nice combination) so I’m going off for a walk this afternoon and then to a double birthday bash… Maybe I’ll take some photos already.
