So I’m not really keeping on top of this blogging thing. I’d like to say I’m bringing you all up to speed on the last few months of my life, but really it’s just a list of excuses. And not much has really happened in the last few months anyway.

This is the main reason really. Nooo I didn’t have a baby. Anyone that follows me on Twitter would have heard me carrying on for god knows how long about how stressed I was with uni. I finally finished my degree (Bachelor of Creative Industries majoring in Creative and Professional Writing, and Fashion blah blah) which will get me absolutely nowhere in life but I get that piece of paper right? Anyways it totally owned this year of my life cause I put waaaaay too much pressure on myself which is pretty unneccessary, cause at the end of the day I’m just a Creative Industries student (that’s QUT’s fancy name for Arts) and it’s not like I’ll be saving lives with my new-found skillz.

My final two assignment due dates conveniently landed on the same day Nas finally paid us a visit. AWESOME gig, despite the raping that is drink prices at the Tivoli.

Then it was my birthday. That’s my unhappy-about-Jager face surrounded by the last of the stragglers of my birthday drinks. I don’t even know some of those people.
Then I had the unfortunate experience of having to move house which I carried on about on Twitter heaps again. I’m totally allowed to do that though, cause I’m up to about my 9th address in the past 5 years. But the real estate gods who usually send lightning bolts of despair and self-loathing down on me actually smiled for a change and we conveniently were able to move into the unit next door. Same layout, just flipped over and with AIR CON BABY! Take that Brisbane summer, no way will I be spending sleepless nights covering myself with wet towels and ice packs. Anyways we went from this:

To this:

Check out the cutting-edge mirror-image photography skills.
And that really brings me to now, where I pretty much fend off the inevitable “so what are you going to do now you’ve finished uni?” and other related bullshit. My work can only put me on three days a week and even then a lot of time is spent babysitting my boss’ new kitten.

So that concludes another riveting post from me. I felt I just needed to get that out of the way so I can move onto the mind-blowing, off-the-hizz posts I have planned. Don’t hold your breath though, my stone age laptop is nearing the end of his surprisingly long life and can barely read blogs let alone write them. And we kinda don’t have proper internet at home right now. Sad face.
