Yinny is yet another one of my gorgeous and talented friends, and why write for a blog if I can't pimp out their wares from time to time, so here goes!

Yin Chuah is the kinda girl that makes you think... "Shit! Am I living life to the fullest?" Girl has been everywhere, fearlessly conquering the globe. These travels ended her up in the favelas of Bahia in Brazil, hanging out with the locals, learning the language and the culture. If I had to go travelling alone right now, let alone to the slums of South America, I WOULD FREAK OUT! But that's just the kind of girl Yin is... Cool as shit. Anyway while Yin was there she learnt the technique of macrame, an indigenous handcraft where threads of colourful string are knotted to create ropes and accessories, and she has been weaving awesome designs ever since. It's only recently however that Yin has decided that she wants to make a go of it, and I really think she is going to rock it...

So cute right!!?? I've seen her in action and the girl is good, she tried to teach me the simplest knotting technique and I absolutely bombed it. I guess we're not all natural born weavers hey.
