Blog Lovin’: Agent Lover

Back in the day when I was a wee lass in back in high school during the early years of the interwebs, there wasn’t really blogs, well not like there are now. There were like live journals and angelfire and geocities. All the jams! But anyway I used to read a few ‘online journals’, no pics, no youtube embeds, nothing, just writing. And you know what, they were fucking awesome! You read em because the chicks were hella witty, interesting and rad. I went to an all girls Catholic school full of really boring motherfuckers but when I read these blogs written by cool bitches about their college life, their boyfriends, the music and art and clothes they liked, well it seemed like there was this whole big ol’ world out there waiting for me that didn’t suck. I’d check back every other day (no rss back then) and a new post was like getting a parcel from a beloved friend.

And that my friends is why I wanna showcase one of the blogs I currently love AGENT LOVER, as it totally reminds me of the golden days of blogs, when girls were rad and interesting and fun. Ie. Every tumblr is not! (sorry guys but too lazy to even find your own fucking photos? Get outta here!)

I can’t remember quite how I stumbled upon it but I think I fell in love roughly around the same time as THIS POST, when Marie did a blog about her GINGERBREAD HOUSE MAKING PARTY.  Jesus Christ! Probably the best blog post I have ever seen in my life.

Marie aka Agent Lover ticks all my boxes, she’s into cute clothes and movies like Mermaids, she knows how to cut a good set of bangs, she lives in Cali and she makes hats in the shape of cakes. Um yes plz. Did I mention she also loves old Goldie Hawn movies and dlisted.com too?

Anyway, enough of my gushing. I’m 3 glasses of wine deep, forgive my rambles. I decided it was high time to shoot some questions over to the little lady herself and let her fill you in on the beauty and majesty that is Agent Lover.
