Hungry?
I get it now. I understand why people in the US eat out so much, not only is it convenient, it's cheap. Plus you don't have a few fast food joints to eat at, you have So. Many. Options. I don't think I've eaten lunch or dinner at home for over a week...mostly because work has been flat out, but also yesterday was the 4th of July so it was necessary to drink milkshakes and eat burgers in parmesan bread. What the hell is that green shit?
A trip down to the San Diego County Fair opened my eyes to a new kind of fried food. Fried everything food. EVERYTHING.
Read the signs carefully, that's right - Apple fries, chocolate covered bacon and deep fried butter.

One of my fave US moments so far - I got to meet the super lovely Bebe Buell. The very lady that inspired the last Hayley Mei collection (and by 'last' I don't mean final. Work begins on collection #3 - think I've taken enough time off!)

Where the hell have I been? Finally got over my 2 months of Melbourne down time (which was great, don't get me wrong) and settled back into very sunny San Diego - North County ya hear. So what's the haps? I'll catch you up with some pics...
My first time in LA - we hit up the Transworld Skateboarding Awards. Some dudes won some shit. I'm not sure what happened because the audio was so *awesome* I couldn't hear anything. Man, there's beef in skateboarding. Who knew?
I saw my first star on the footpath (ok, sidewalk) and I also squealed when I saw Danny Kass and touched him like a stalker - not unlike that scene in Hannibal where he touches that lady's hair. Haha. Read more
