Off to the opening night of Memento Mori later tonight, written by my friend Bradley Vincent, and being performed as part of the Sydney Fringe festival. I’m most excited, some much needed culture! Yes please!

Here’s what I wore to a Hen’s night last Saturday… The theme was “Op-Shop Formal” which pretty much describes my entire wardrobe so needless to say I didn’t have to buy a thing.

This is one of my many Barbara Cartland blouses… it’s hand made, I’d say from around the 50′s-60′s, I got it off a little old lady at a car boot sale…

I always threaten Noods that this is what he has to look forward to as I age disgracefully… Seriously, I think I will still be trowel-ing on the make-up and wearing heels into my 80′s.

And here’s a close up of my excellent Bollywood earrings… and my massive ears.. yes they are long, I’m aware of it so don’t bother bitching about it behind my back ok?

The best bit about this outfit though, is the bow on my bum…

I made Noods pose too.. hahaha, well it is his anniversary too!  I’m in op-shop dress and jacket, a necklace made by Noods himself and my trusty ASOS shoes…I told you I haven’t taken them off! Noods is in Fred Perry polo, I think Levi jeans and some Chavy as hell Nikes… hawt.

The dress I have on has this amazing abstract/brush stroke horse print on it… Here’s a close up.

PIGLETS… God it was good… I also made a rhubarb cake, in the shape of a love heart no less… I was pretty rammed by the end.. hahaha.

On a completely unrelated note, how GOOD is this Charles Bronsen manniquin at my local antiques centre….

I’ll tell you how good, REALLY bloody good.. Um, the frilly scarf accessories are just the icing on the cake!

BAHAHAHAHAHA.. look at Noodle’s curly do, and mine for that matter… plus bootleg jeans and shell toes… We had some serious steeze, right?! This is probably not long after we first started dating.

Awwww jeez Louise… A lovely day at the Byron bay Blues Fest, yes I am wearing a hippie head band, yes we have matching lip piercings, what of it? A year in people… so fresh faced, so cute.

Nice pleathers Noodz! Here we are at a Miami Vice themed 30th, I’m guessing around the 4 year mark, I’ve grown my hair out finally. This is the first time I stuffed my bra for a dress-up party… I’ve never looked back!

Sun burnt and eyebrowless in Dubrovnik, Croatia… Noodle has also morphed into a Terry Richardson/Chooper hybrid by this stage. 6 years!

7 year anniversary at Euro Disney! Laser attack!

8 years and a “I can’t believe you wore that!”  party. Still stuffing my bra and still as adorable as ever right?

And finally this year in Melbourne… 9 years in, I look happy, Noodz is a bit questionable!  Love you baby! <3

… and some of Noodle’s maltesers… this was me from work then to a movie last night. Wearing a pink beret from ebay, a crap load of makeup, shoes from ASOS, second hand stone wash AWOL jacket (a personal fave) and a really cute dress from a shop off Bricklane in London that I don’t remember the name of. I call it my Jackson Pollock dress, it’s covered in paint splats and has this awesomely massive ruffle down the front, I love ruffles. It also has my favourite feature of any dress… POCKETS… I love the comforting feeling of slipping your hands into pockets, meanwhile the receptionist at work asked me if it was a top or a dress.. what a prude! Noods and I had a date night last night and went and saw Inception after work, it was so romantic as we stuffed our faces with supermarket bought treats and complained that we felt like we were going to die (but continued to stuff chocolate in) I really enjoyed the movie but man has Leo got that weird middle age face spread thing going on.. his face is sooo wide, it’s so weird how some dudes faces do that.

Thought provoking and confronting. Some intense art right there.

So left is work, yes my eyes are shut, best of a bad lot, a patient photographer my boyfriend is not…. I think everything is from an Op Shop apart from the stockings (got them in Melbs) and the Shoes which were a score on Ebay. I think I decided I just wanted to wear as much pink and purple as possible in the one outfit… My work colleagues think I’m a nut case meanwhile.

Then later I swapped out the demure length skirt for a sequin mini, brenton stripes and my fave Minna Parikka shoes, an amazing leaving gift from my London Studio… I also added another billion brooches and badges… More is more right?

Noodle took the pics, he rolls his eyes every time I ask… So I took a pic of what he wore to work yesterday, he’s a Design and Tech High School teacher… Here he is watering the newly planted parsley!

He looks super impressed right? haha!

I really wish I was wearing this outfit right now. Instead I am in Noodle’s dressing gown AND slippers.. chic!

Mmm you like my posing? I kinda look like a demented bird?  This is actually pretty blurry isn’t it, well you get the idea… My favourite part of this outfit? The crazy jacket.

It is this weird tapestry type fabric with all these cool tribal and animal illustrations all over it. I think I paid $15 bucks for it at a 2nd hand store in Newcastle. Gold.

I have also found a purplish lip colour (as coveted in a recent post) I couldn’t find a true purple, but more of a purple-pink in the form of a MAC lip pencil. Hayley asked to see, so here’s my mug… I’ve been going pretty mental with the eyebrow pencil lately too. haha…. Um and how’s the Tracks poster in the background? That’s Noods one lonely surf poster… I HATE THEM. But I have graciously allowed one. Don’t say I’m not a good girlfriend.

I also received my ASOS order last week and  have been wearing my wedge dessert boots NON STOP. They are so comfy as the wedge is pretty small and well they go with everything…Tada!

Such a pretty photo…  Ok so that’s the first of some outfit posting…  I’ll try and pick up the game on the blurry, boring backgrounds front… balancing my camera on a candle on my dresser might not be the best way of taking pics methinks.

My darling friend Rash (in white top) dragged Onamei (In gingham top) and another friend Panda off to the stripsies shortly after this… at 5 in the morning… and then she got into a fight with a stripper and had to buy her a double shot to resolve it… hahah.

And the most tell tale sign of too many Mojito’s of all… Me doing my “poker face”… Truly terrifying!

It still doesn’t top this pic though… Get ready for it…
