I know this is going to make some of you vom, but I found this interesting…well, kinda hilarious. I’ve noticed a distinct difference in football songs here compared to back home in Aus.
Compare:
I know I know, the San Diego Chargers have a new song. Still, the old one is pretty impressive.
* I do not love, or follow any of the above football teams… Or football.

First up, I have to say, for a surf mag, this cover is pretty fucking rad! Not exactly original but still. Stab is still the coolest surf mag. Surf mags are generally soooo fucking boring, if you’re not a surfer that is but I would fully pick this mag up on the basis of the cover.

Kawaii sou desu ne?

Passing time
Something I’m not really used to here in the US is waiting to be seated for meals. I know this happens back home, but it’s not really that often. Pretty much every time we’ve been out, we’ve waited 15 – 40 mins for a spot. I’m not complaining though, it’s just how it is and the trick is to not be starving when you head out the door. That, and bring something along to keep yourselves occupied.
The other night, we used our phones to link up to the DMV to make some personalised number plates (in California, you can even choose symbols – heart, hand and star for your plates – BELIEVE IT!) Of course, this provided 40 minutes of pure entertainment…Sadly, ‘BOGAN’ was already taken , so the winning plate that got passed by the DMV:
Now all we need is $40 to keep it.
