These are possibly the ugliest bits of jewellery on earth… They are generic, tacky and tasteless and from what I’ve gathered each hideous charm will cost you anything from $100 up to like thousands of dollars, I’d rather wear a bin liner for a day then have to walk around with this shit on my wrist… It boggles the mind!

Anyway, while no doubt everyone has seen it already, just thought I’d put my two cents in for the big Stab magazine controversy over having a naked 16 year old on the cover, here it is you perves….
First up, I have to say, for a surf mag, this cover is pretty fucking rad! Not exactly original but still. Stab is still the coolest surf mag. Surf mags are generally soooo fucking boring, if you’re not a surfer that is but I would fully pick this mag up on the basis of the cover.
Okay now onto the fact that this mole is 16. My point of view is, if they didn’t make a point of it it wouldn’t be pervey but the fact that it’s got “She’s 16″ ooooooohhhhh how boner inducing, is a bit suss. But that said, isn’t 16 above the age of consent? If you can fuck her legally than you should be able to perve on her too?
Let’s face it, perving on underage girls is pretty much a quintessential part of surf culture. At least they’re staying true to their roots? (pun intended). Haven’t you seen Black Rock? haha. I got no problem with this. Especially since the dudes that read stab are gonna be young guys anyway. If this was Esquire or GQ, suss town, but this! Pffft. I’ve seen way more pedo-like shit in women’s fashion mags. Plus she doesn’t look 16. Remember in the 90s when Australian Hustler ran that cover of that 16 year old and a spread of her and played up the fact she was a virgin, now that my friend is suss.

Not really, but it can be fun wearing ridics girly shit at times and knock designer stuff. I highly reccomend it, it puts a spring in your fat western step. I wish I had a fluffy hair tie and over the top pear necklace for this one too, oh and a little dog. This was yesterday. Today I’m dressed like an emo chola. Bad outfit choice. Ever since I got back from the UK I have been meaning to shift the 5Kg of beer that slowly ended up on my ass but you know life so far has got in the way… not that I regret it, I loved putting on every single last gram but yeah it’s had it’s day and it’s time again for it to piss right off… anyhoo with the help of a “Hot for Summer” pact with the BFFF I have been in lose kg overload… beginning with cutting out the crap and eating healthily, saying goodbye to beer (not forever but for the time being) and hello to everyone’s favourite pass time EXERCISE… hahaha nah it’s been ok, I’ve been doing an hour a day and I am one sore bitch but I feel better already, CC’s bikini post was certainly good encouragement.

Passing time
Something I’m not really used to here in the US is waiting to be seated for meals. I know this happens back home, but it’s not really that often. Pretty much every time we’ve been out, we’ve waited 15 – 40 mins for a spot. I’m not complaining though, it’s just how it is and the trick is to not be starving when you head out the door. That, and bring something along to keep yourselves occupied.
The other night, we used our phones to link up to the DMV to make some personalised number plates (in California, you can even choose symbols – heart, hand and star for your plates – BELIEVE IT!) Of course, this provided 40 minutes of pure entertainment…Sadly, ‘BOGAN’ was already taken , so the winning plate that got passed by the DMV:
Now all we need is $40 to keep it.
