Remember how I said ACCLAIM was having a party in NYC? Well, it’s come and gone and from all accounts was amazing, boo that I wasn’t there but yay that it went sick. Me being the opportunist that I am managed to get karmaloopTV to come to the event and cover it and their video was amazing! Ellen and the girls look so great and it looked like such a rad night. Justine and Ryan make me wanna be a lesbian also. Damn. I should of been there! haha.

I finally got that rice cooker I was so wanting (albeit I had to buy it MYSELF for my bday). It has been stirfry a-go-go ever since. Mmmmm HEALTH.

While on the topic of food, how darling are these little guys I got at my bday dinner with PJ. So yummy too. I also enjoyed the pleasure of plum wine for the first time ever and good god, what a delight! Tried buying a bottle of the shit though and it was crap! They must have magical plum wine at Wood Spoon.

Paul bought a new skateboard for the wall. It’s pretty cool. HK still rules supreme if you ask me though.

Ain’t no cigarettes quite like duty-free cigarettes. Look at that flawless packaging. I’m living in the 80s. My lungs however are living like I am actually 80. Sorry! I need to give up. Even social smoking is killing my ass now I try and exercise.

Can’t remember if I showed you already but check out the parting gift from my intern. Amazing or what. He works in a bar and stole this for me. He even rode his bike with it to the office. You shall be missed. Mmmm I could go a west coast cooler now. So good and as I get older the less alcoholic the better!

I found this rad chair at the salvos. It actually looks alot more dutch design than lazy-boy in real life. And it’s got all wood panelling at the back. It was only 20 bucks but Paul rules our house decor with an iron fist and wasn’t much impressed. And then I went back and it was gone I should of bought it as my chair for the office and I would of been such a pimp. Why didn’t I do that damnit!

While I never seem to win shit, I’m lucky that my friends do and take me! Alisha one the funniest comp. a special screening of the last ever episode of The Hills at this mall out in butt-fuck. I’ve never really watched the show and now I feel as though I never have to again as it was infact 4 episodes including one recap ON THE ENTIRE SHOW FROM IT’S INCARNATION and one reunion show. I think I saw the same fucking scene like 200 times. They really are an insipid bunch of little sluts aren’t they? That Whitney girl is okay I guess but yeah, it was a little draining. We lined up to go in and I was expecting mostly teenagers but it was like 80% fat 30 something suburban bitches and corporate looking types. WEIRD. And some fool from MTV was taking pictures of girls in front of a piece of cardboard he dragged up and down the queue. It was a pretty brutal scene haha. I neglected a photo but the young girls loved it! It was actually a pretty fun arvo, the mall itself was more exciting though.

The beautiful Jessie had us over for a BBQ yesterday. It was rad and there was so much food I couldn’t sleep at night due to the indigestion I had. haha. I am always one to make the most of such opportunities. It’s the art student in me. Mike is prepping the snags on another beautiful Melbourne spring day.

Slight rain turned into full on pouring. Luckily an umbrella was on hand.

There was a shitload of champagne also. Goddamn I enjoyed that (not so much the next day ay) and we caught up with one half of the duo, your friend Luke, rikki. He’s hilarious. The whole night was pretty hilarious, full of art patrons dress way over the top (it was in a posh commercial gallery), fashion kids and one small Asian lady who came in holding a fat furry REAL alive bunny like a baby. It was like someone was taking the piss! Great night though!

Next night I met up with miss Magoo and I must be a glutton for punishment as I was hungover as hell and went to another fashion thing. This time a book launch for this new title on Aus and NZ fashion.

Here you can witness the two quintessential melbourne hairstyles, the fashion bun and the Melbourne undercut. It was mostly just full of ppl like this, retail fashion people. Yawn. But the chicks are the bar were hella friendly and the dj played some good music. And I won’t say no to a Peroni pretty much…. well ever. Fuck I want a beer now… where am I???

Nancy and I then proceeded to drink on the street and then go home and drink more and have a youtube party that involved an alarming amount of 90s girl-rock cheeze such as Lisa Loeb and Bic Runga, hahaha WTF? We are such sad lezzos. We also enjoyed this track immensely….

Bahahah. I still stand by this song though. Apparently she was married to Paul Simon, I had no idea. We didn’t listen to Ani Di Franco though, there’s some lows I just won’t go.

So yeah I was hung over half of the damn working week. So now it’s worky time. But I took time out to blog ’cause I’m a fucking saint, let’s face it.

Anyway 20 to 8 and I’m still at work, fuck this, I need to get some grub. G-NITE!!!
