Ahhh this weekend has me turning my frown upside down HARD! I love this weather. So so good. It’s got me all excited about Summer all over again! And what’s Summer without Summer Jams right? When it comes to Summer Jams the music I like to listen to falls under two categories. a) ‘tanning music’ which could also be described as ‘stripper music’ it’s all about Kool Keith, Busta, Fabolous, Drake all that good horn-dog shit. You really need that music while tanning to pump up all those sexual juices, so when you’re getting too hot and wanna bail you go “NO! I NEED TO LOOK STRIPPER HOT, TOUGHEN UP!” I’m sure this would also work for ‘working out’ but I wouldn’t have any idea about that kinda shit. Haha. The second kinda music I like to listen to is kinda cruisey laid back stuff. Like the Beach Boys (cliche but good, Don’t Worry Baby is one of my all time favourite songs EVER)

Exhibitions a go go

I’m trying to plan an exhibition for a client which they will no doubt neg on and waste my whole fucking week (pessimistic much?) so have been sussing out a bunch of galleries all over the place. In my travels I have found two exhibitions we should check out.

Firstly on Saturday, I plan to hit this up.

Fuck shoes or handbags, I want a fucking monkey. I’ve wanted a monkey for ages. Oh yeah so they’re naughty and look kinda evil but have you heard about these helper monkeys? That’s right HELPER…MONKEYS! Monkeys that help you.

Generally they’re set aside for those with hardcore injuries that can’t look after themselves but I’d like to change that. Firstly the new and improved MISS crew site is up. Gotta say it’s looking pretty damn good. You don’t realise how good a layout improvement can switch things up huh? It’s a pleasure to read now! I’ve been putting off blogging for a bit as I should be doing work, but no motherfuckers are returning my emails so before I get cracking on phoning their asses I thought I’d do the ol’ obligatory weekend post. Pretty chilled weekend. Nice. But managed to spend retarded amounts of money none the less.

Friday was Killaqueenz! All you bitches that piked on me (ie. everyone I invited! haha) justice was served as these chicks were so freakin’ good! I co-sign Rikki. It was a super fun night. Nice different crowd than I’m usually around and First Floor is always a bit of fun AND they make my fave cocktail (yes they make cocktails haha). GANSTER LOVIN’. Paul hates ordering it coz it sounds so fucking lame but my god their tasty. In fact all their cocktails are really good and only 9.50.

drink Nom, nom, nom. Gin, Alize, lime, cloudy apple juice = the beauty and enchantment that is Gangster Lovin’. I could seriously drink this drink like as soon as I woke up in the morning, it’s amazoid. Anyway, back to the actual gig…

Plastic Fantastic

Taken me a while to post bout these but last week I finally got my hands on the Vivienne Westwood x Melissa shoes. Bought a pair of the flats in black and the cute orb heels in red. Gotta say I love Melissa shoes! And the smell! They fricken smell like bubblegum. They’re like my little ponies for your feet.

Don’t worry, I’d never wear them with white jeans, I just happened to be wearing white at the time. Look at the little orb shining! These are so gorgeous. I predict they will be pretty painful to wear though and not sure exactly what I’ll wear them with but I don’t care if I never wear em. They look and smell so purdy.

I’m really into plastic shit at the moment. My next plastic purchase I wanna make, is also from space and comes in the form of this amazoid limited edition Kartell Ghost chair brought out for Barbie’s anniversary…
